Zita Light-Music Version of Atangche Zita and her Impact thus far
Zita Light is the music version of Atangche Zita Ngeche who is also MC, Journalist, otivational Speaker and CEO of NEW BREED AFRICA. 5th of a polygamous family of 10 and 6 from her own mother’s womb. Member of an influential choral group “The Flames” based in her city of birth, Bamenda Cameroon and a music trainer at a home based entertainment house “SHOSA EMPIRE”. She was born on the 19th of May 1986. Started her music career with dancing and singing at the primary school level, gradually grew up into a choreographer and leader of a gospel dance crew “Meaning Makers” known by its acronym “Double M” that ran from 2003 to 2010 with major performances with musical groups like The Bright Phase, artists like Kenny Great, David King, events like Nation Builders Global Leadership Conference in 2010 at Palais de Congress Yaounde Cameroon etc. and equally did choreography for some gospel albums. In 2008 she started the professional side of her solo music career, did some demo tracks and was has been more involved into live performances in different events as solo and as part of the Flames. She is back up artist for Godema Recordz and other recording studio around her city of Bamenda, Cameroon and also Lead Singer for The Flames. At the close of 2014, she suspended her public appearances to project others, following her passion to promote indigenous talents through the celebrity award section of her New Breed Africa Foundation “NBACA 2016” and her famous running radio entertainment show on Radio Hot Cocoa titled “Meet the Stars”, which equally has Facebook page for same purpose. She won 3rd Prize for the “GIZ FEMMES ET FILLES FORTES” national music competition on “Gender and HIV/AIDS” with one of her songs “Stop the Blame” in 2013. Aside this has been on different live performance platform at several gospel or religious events, yet without any album in the market. Her debut single “saka” which means “dance” is the only song she has on a social media platform You Tube in lyrics video format and live performance at a cultural event early 2015. Zita light, born and gifted to transform lives through music, now feels the urge of taking up her music career on a more serious note this time, while climbing along with others she sacrificed two years of her own music career for. She believes that it will be easier to do more for the entertainment industry in her nation and contribute in making live better for the destitute, the hopeless, and youths mentally, physically, financially, morally, socially and other wise if she becomes a living epistle of the power of music in transforming lives and society.
Zita Light is single and trusting God for he who should complement and complete her for the fulfilment of Gods plan for her life through music and her other ventures. The truth about Zita Light is that she finds it difficult separating her music career completely from her other areas of impact because she is multi-talented as seen above.
