Roqzen Finila, One of Cameroon's best rappers decided to do a cover of Alpha Better's lastest track in Lamnso.

FINILA CLIFFORD BONGKISHERI AKA ROQZEN FINILA

Is an indigenous Rapper from Northwest region Cameroon, kumbo (Banso) to be precise. Born in Shisong General Hospital and raised in littoral region. His biological parents are from the Northwest region as well (Finila Emmanuel and Yula Emmerncia) currently living in Kumbo. He's from a family of 6 siblings which includes 2girls and 4boys with him as the 3rd born. He attended an elementary school in Douala from class 1 to class 6 then finished class 7 in The Presbyterian School in kumbo (P.S.KUMBO) wherehe got his first school leaving certificate. Studied at G.S.S KITIWUM and got transferred to G.B.H.S Tobin where he obtain his ordinary level in 2008 and advanced level in 2011. From there he met a new family that helped him throughout his university studies (Keafon Emmanuella and Chukwuma igwenagu), ashe got admitted into the University of Yaoundé 1 Cameroon where hestudied Geography for 3years and had his Bachelor’s degree in 2014 then later moved to Saint Monica university in 2015 studying Human resource (Masters in business administration) and when he was about to graduate there the strike came in and slowed him down. So currently his studies are on a halt.

CAREER AS A DANCER

He started his career as a dancer then later on something magical came up ashestarted composing/writing and singing his own songs in 2004 after molding himself up with American songs and a few African songs.He grew listening to Richard kings, Ton wan lah, Wira jing from KUMBO and 2pac, Nas, Jay Z, and wu tang clan to name a few other American rappers and Dina bell, Grace Decca, and Ben Decca.he recorded his first song in 2009 with the song title I can’t recall under a Scanzy production with DJay Karl as producer. The first song I featured on that gave me little exposure was in 2011 with Neglect Buri. Djay Karl remade this song which was later on dropped in 2016 with a song titled “WIR NSO’’ which is on Soundcloud. Later on he featured on an Eyemass song alongside KBHOOD artist Neglect Buri in a song tittled “VITAVI” which is on youtube (https://youtu.be/0qkWVxIN-oc )same year 2016.

While in Yaoundé one of his best friend and a brother to him Method J Tabiy made him not to give up onhis career in 2013 when nothing seemed possible. He started producinghim in 2013 till date there are still working together. The song ‘’woso’’ was produced in 2015 by him in which FINILA Have performed the song on different platforms like on a Movie premiere at Hilton Hotel where he met John Dumelo the Ghanaian actor and also performed in an industry night 10th edition in BUEA 2016, in which he was rated best artist of the night leaving his name and song on everyone’s mouth. Therehe met artist like Salatiel, Daphne, Minks, Nabil and Waxdey. With his amazing performance Waxdey took his song to the greatest African rapper MI ABAGA in which FINILA  was endorsed and rated 9/10 by the boss himself link in (https://youtu.be/MtnrcyHFV14 ).

As of now he has been busy working on other songs and a video project for his upcoming song ‘’WOSO’’ under a new label Gumption Music Which will be made public soon.we pray God continues to show him the way till he  hit the pinnacle of his career by becoming number 1 on air someday.
